The background

It started with an idea of ambiant and safe lighting

In the early 1970s, Swedish inventor Rolf König Berg began working on an idea for safe candlelight. On dark Swedish evenings, real candles are lit in homes across the country — and just as often forgotten with the risk of causing fires.

Rolf wanted to create an electric candle that moved like a living flame but was as safe as a light bulb. After a long series of trials, he succeeded — and patented the invention. The product was named New Feeling's Flame and became an immediate success.

In 2022, the next generation was introduced, a candle now built with LED technology for a significantly longer lifespan.
